Hamilton Ditches Ferrari Simulator, Calls for Investigation

Lewis Hamilton has decided to step away from Ferrari's Formula 1 simulator after a frustrating weekend at the Miami Grand Prix, where he finished sixth. The seven-time world champion, now level on points with reigning champion Lando Norris in the drivers' standings, expressed dissatisfaction with the simulator's correlation to real-world performance.

Hamilton, 41, stated: 'I don't like simulators in general, but I'm at the simulator every week... You go on it, you prepare for the track, you drive it and you get the car set-up to a certain place - and then you come to the track and that set-up doesn't work.' He added that he will not use the simulator before the next race in Canada, opting instead for a different approach.

The British driver also called for an investigation into Ferrari's front wing design, noting that rivals Mercedes, McLaren and Red Bull appear to have different configurations. 'Just look at everyone else's wing and look at ours, you'll see it looks different,' Hamilton said. 'I wonder what that's doing, because others seem to have it and they improved.'

Hamilton's teammate Charles Leclerc finished eighth in Miami after a 20-second penalty, while Kimi Antonelli won the race ahead of Norris and Oscar Piastri. The F1 season resumed following the cancellation of the Bahrain and Saudi Arabia grands prix.
