Hall made 46 appearances for Eddie Howe's side last season, earning him an international call-up and a reputation as England's future left-back. The i Paper claims that sources close to the player indicate he would be receptive to a move to Old Trafford, though no formal discussions have taken place yet.
Newcastle swiftly denied reports of a bust-up between Hall and Howe that could have facilitated a transfer. The Magpies are reluctant to sell the defender amid a significant squad rebuild at St. James' Park, with Sandro Tonali and Anthony Gordon already departing and captain Bruno Guimaraes linked to Arsenal.
United's summer plans
