Arsenal strikers Gabriel Jesus and Gabriel Martinelli could both be on their way out of the club this summer, with Mikel Arteta reportedly open to sales as he looks to reshape his attack.
Brazilian forward Gabriel Jesus has admitted he dreams of returning to his boyhood club Palmeiras. With just over a year left on his contract at the Emirates, and having lost his place as first-choice striker to Viktor Gyokeres, the 28-year-old may be sold to avoid losing him on a free transfer in 2027. “I have the dream of returning one day to play, not to end my career. I think about going back every day,” Jesus told Globo Esporte.
Meanwhile, Gabriel Martinelli’s poor form this season has put his future in doubt. The 24-year-old has scored just once in 25 Premier League appearances, and reports suggest Arsenal will consider offers for him at the end of the season. The club have been linked with a new wide forward, with competition for places from Bukayo Saka, Noni Madueke and Eberechi Eze increasing the pressure on Martinelli.
Both players have been key for Arsenal in recent years, but with the club potentially needing to raise funds for further reinforcements, departures could be on the cards.
