Tributes have been paid to former Hearts scout and kitman John Harvey, who has died. Harvey was a well-known figure at Tynecastle and the son of John Harvey Snr, who managed the Gorgie club between 1966 and 1970.
Known as 'Swerve,' Harvey began his time at Hearts as an opposition scout under Scottish Cup-winning manager Jim Jefferies in the 1990s before moving into a role in the kit room.

“John, the son of former player and manager John Harvey, was a popular figure at Tynecastle Park, providing opposition scouting for Jim Jefferies in the 90s before taking on a role in the kitroom.
