Manchester United icon Rio Ferdinand has thrown his weight behind a potential move for Brighton & Hove Albion's exciting young striker Benjamin Šeško, claiming the Slovenian could be the perfect addition to Erik ten Hag's squad.
The former England defender, speaking on his podcast, highlighted Šeško's impressive performances for Brighton last season as evidence that the 21-year-old has what it takes to succeed at Old Trafford. "He's got that rare combination of physical presence and technical ability," Ferdinand said. "At his age, with his potential, he could be a long-term solution up front."

With uncertainty surrounding several of United's current attacking options, Ferdinand believes Šeško represents better value than some of the more established names being linked with the club.
