Crystal Palace defender Chris Richards will miss Sunday's Premier League finale against Arsenal after tearing two ligaments in his ankle, manager Oliver Glasner confirmed on Thursday.
The USA international was injured during last weekend's 2-2 draw with Brentford following a collision with Igor Thiago and had to be helped off the pitch. He was absent from training on Thursday morning.
Glasner said Richards is now a doubt for the Conference League final against Rayo Vallecano, describing his chances as 50/50. The 26-year-old has been a mainstay in defence, with only Dean Henderson, Maxence Lacroix and Tyrick Mitchell playing more minutes this season.
Palace will also welcome back former player Eberechi Eze, who joined Arsenal last summer and will lift the Premier League title at Selhurst Park. Glasner congratulated Eze and Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta on their success.
