Dele Alli is back training at Tottenham Hotspur as the 29-year-old free agent seeks to return to professional football. The midfielder has been without a club since leaving Italian side Como last September.
Alli, who scored 69 goals in 269 appearances during his seven-year spell at Spurs, is using the club's facilities at Hotspur Way to regain fitness. He has posted videos of himself training on the pitches.
The 37-cap England international was a special guest at the north London derby against Arsenal last month, where he addressed fans at half-time. 'I can't wait to get back on the pitch playing, hopefully it won't be too long now,' he said.
Alli left Tottenham in 2022 and struggled for form and fitness during spells at Everton, Besiktas and Como. At Como, he was sent off in his only appearance after coming on as an 81st-minute substitute against AC Milan.
He has been linked with Championship sides Wrexham, Birmingham City and West Bromwich Albion in recent weeks.
