Crystal Palace will start next season with a new manager as Oliver Glasner's tenure comes to an end with the UEFA Conference League final. The Austrian coach has decided to step down after two highly successful years, which included an FA Cup triumph, to seek a fresh challenge elsewhere.
Glasner Farewell
Oliver Glasner will leave his position as manager at the end of the season, with his last game being tonight's UEFA Conference League final against Rayo Vallecano. His decision to step down stems from a desire to take on a fresh challenge in his career after a highly successful two-year spell that included the club's FA Cup triumph.
Leading Contenders
Jose Bordalas (5/2): The Spanish coach is the current front-runner at the time of writing. The 62-year-old has been in charge of Getafe since 2023 and recently led the club to seventh in La Liga, qualifying for the Conference League.
Andoni Iraola (10/3): The Bournemouth boss is the next candidate in the running. Iraola previously announced he would be leaving the Cherries at the end of his contract and signed off by delivering a sixth-placed finish and a Europa League spot.
Filipe Luis (8/1): The former Atletico Madrid and Chelsea defender has made an impressive start to his coaching career. He won the 2025 Copa Libertadores with Flamengo before leaving the Brazilian giants in March.
Marcelino Toral (8/1): The 60-year-old is currently in charge of Villarreal, who finished third this season. The experienced Spanish manager is highly regarded for his strict defensive organisation and rapid counter-attacking style, making him a compelling option.
Other Candidates
Thomas Frank (9/1): The recent Tottenham Hotspur boss boasts considerable Premier League experience. He previously earned plaudits for his work with Brentford and would return to the dugout with a point to prove.
Pierre Sage (10/1): The 47-year-old finds himself among the candidates for the Palace job. The Lens head coach won the Coupe de France this term and was named Ligue 1 Manager of the Year.
Robbie Keane (12/1): A Premier League icon who is yet to test his managerial skills in English football, Keane recently departed Hungarian side Ferencvaros after earlier spells at ATK and Maccabi Tel Aviv.
Frank Lampard (14/1): The Coventry City boss rounds out the top eight contenders for the Palace position. Lampard won the Championship to achieve promotion this season, having previously coached Chelsea and Everton in the top division.
