Coventry Go 10 Points Clear After Late Win At Middlesbrough

Coventry City moved 10 points clear at the top of the Championship after a dramatic 4-2 victory at Middlesbrough. Liam Kitching and Ellis Simms scored twice each, with both netting in the final five minutes to seal the win.

The Sky Blues dominated the opening stages, taking a 2-0 lead inside 15 minutes through Simms’s stunning strike and Kitching’s header. Middlesbrough responded before half-time through Morgan Whittaker, then equalised early in the second half via a Bobby Thomas own goal.

With the game heading for a draw, Kitching and Simms struck within a minute of each other late on to secure Coventry’s win. Boro drop to third, 10 points behind the leaders.
