Fans are calling for Count Binface to run for FIFA president as speculation mounts that under-fire football chief Gianni Infantino could get the boot.
The process by which football's governing body elect their leader is complicated, however one name appears to be emerging as a frontrunner after Infantino caused uproar with his plan to 'sell off' parts of the World Cup.
With England and Wales officially withdrawing their support for the much-maligned FIFA boss, Brits are seemingly hopeful that somebody from the home of football may be next to take the reigns.
Binface and Starmer emerge as fan favourites
And intergalactic overlord Count Binface is among the candidates being put forward online, together with former PM Sir Keir Starmer.
The pair have both spoken out about the state of the modern game, with Starmer creating the Independent Football Regulator during his time as PM, and Binface pledging to 'scrap VAR' and 'referee corners properly' were he to get into power.

Taking to X, users were quick to point out that FIFA needed a 'sensible' figure to step into replace Infantino, and so it makes sense that the man with a bin on his head was their first port of call.
One user wrote: "I’d like to nominate Count Binface as FIFA president at this point", while another suggested the Clacton candidate could face another British icon saying: "Who do you guys want as the new FIFA big cheese? I’m unsure between Count Binface and Mr Tumble."
Starmer also touted
Starmer has also been suggested as a potential candidate, with Brits claiming the former Labour leader's by-the-book approach could be exactly what football's governing body needs.
Many users were quick to point out that Starmer enjoys football and regularly attending Arsenal matches at the Emirates.
One wrote: "Banter timeline demands that Sir Keir Starmer must ditch his NATO ambitions in order to challenge Infantino for FIFA, backed by Britain, in a redemption arc that sees the former PM seek to overcome the perception that he doesn't actually like football despite being a massive fan".
Another explained that Starmer is a "Good diplomat, completely removed from the internal mess within football, is a genuine football fan, and would almost certainly act on a fair and credible basis and provide a clean break for FIFA."
The Daily Star has approached both Starmer and Binface for comment.
