Four Players Set to Depart
The Daily Mail reports that goalkeeper Radek Vitek, defender Harry Amass, and midfielders Dan Gore and Toby Collyer are all expected to leave this summer. Vitek and Amass may initially be sent out on loan with a purchase option. Vitek has attracted interest from several Championship clubs, while Amass is valued at around £6 million. Collyer spent last season on loan at Hull City, and the newly promoted Tigers are reportedly keen on a permanent deal. Gore is on the chopping block after a loan with Rotherham United.
Rashford Swap Deal Suggested
Marcus Rashford remains a United player after Barcelona chose not to trigger the £26 million purchase option in his loan deal. Barcelona have since signed Anthony Gordon and Karim Adeyemi, closing off a return to Camp Nou. Reports indicate neither party wishes for Rashford to stay. Gazzetta dello Sport claims Rashford could be used in a swap for United target Manu Kone of Roma, who is reportedly available for £51 million. Roma are in the market for a left-sided forward but are constrained by Financial Fair Play regulations. Rashford's £350,000-per-week wages have proved difficult to shift, making him a potential makeweight in a deal for Kone.
