The Carabao Cup third round draw features holders Manchester City, with Arsenal, Manchester United and Liverpool among the nine Premier League sides who qualified for Europe and had been handed safe passage into the round.
Premier League sides enter the competition
Aston Villa, winners in 1996, as well as Brighton and Sunderland also come into the competition. This marks the end of the northern and southern sections, with teams free to draw each other.
The second round is played across three nights and, so far, the only Premier League side to go out is Nottingham Forest, who were beaten by fellow top flight side Leeds.
Remaining lower-league sides
Fleetwood Town are the only remaining League Two side left in the draw after beating fellow fourth tier side Shrewsbury Town on Tuesday night.
Wednesday night's draw will be split into two sections, one taking place before tonight's games, and the other taking place after full-time.
Pre-draw details
Before the main draw, a pre-draw will determine whether each of the eight Champions League and Europa League clubs will be at home or away. This will take place before Preston's Round Two tie against Everton, which is live on Sky.
