Carabao Cup quarter-final draw: Chelsea, Liverpool and Man City learn opponents
Carabao Cup QF draw: Chelsea, Liverpool and Man City learn fate

The Carabao Cup quarter-final draw takes place tonight, with the remaining eight teams learning their opponents for December's ties. The draw follows the conclusion of the fourth-round matches, which will reduce the field from 16 teams to eight, with the winners advancing to the two-legged semi-finals.

Balls are drawn after the Liverpool vs Chelsea match, which kicked off at 8pm GMT. The draw is scheduled for approximately 10.20pm GMT.

Two teams already in the hat

Fleetwood Town secured their place after beating Arsenal, last season's runners-up and reigning champions of England, on penalties in one of the biggest Carabao Cup upsets. In an all-League One affair, Bradford City defeated Peterborough United on Tuesday night.

Five Premier League ties to be decided

On Wednesday, a full schedule guarantees five Premier League teams will exit the competition. Holders Manchester City host Brighton, Chelsea travel to Liverpool, Sunderland welcome Brentford to the Stadium of Light, Fulham and Crystal Palace meet for a second time this season, and Bournemouth take on Aston Villa. Thursday's action sees Everton and Newcastle compete for the final remaining spot.

The draw will determine the quarter-final pairings for the 2026-27 Carabao Cup, with the ties set to take place in December.
