Dominic Calvert-Lewin is a minor doubt for Leeds United ahead of their Premier League clash with Tottenham after missing training on Thursday.
The striker has scored four goals in Leeds' first nine league matches of the season, but has now emerged as a doubt for Sunday's visit of Spurs as Daniel Farke's side look to end their five-match winless run.
Farke's update on Calvert-Lewin
Speaking in his pre-match press conference on Thursday, Farke said: "Dominic Calvert-Lewin had a little setback with his foot and was not able to train with us today. But I would say I am carefully optimistic that he is back in training hopefully tomorrow and then he would also be available."
Elsewhere, Farke confirmed that Noah Okafor and Anton Stach are likely to miss out this weekend due to more serious knocks.
"Noah Okafor obviously missed the last game due to some adductor problems," the Leeds boss added. "He was also not able to have one team training session during this week so far, just individual work for him. So, I can't really say if he is available for the game. We have two more days anyhow but so far he has not joined us in team training.
"The same for Anton Stach with foot problems. Just individual rehab work was possible, so major doubts then both if they are available. With Anton and Noah, we have to see."
Positive news on Rodon and others
Farke did have some positive news, though, with Joe Rodon back in first-team training after his lengthy injury, while Gabriel Gudmundsson and James Justin have also both trained after sustaining knocks last weekend.
"Good news with Joe Rodon, he is back in full team training during this week," he said. "Of course he was out for quite a time but it is definitely good because he is an important player for us and back in training."
On Gudmundsson and Justin, he added: "Knocks, especially Gabi, but everything is okay. Both have been able to train with us the last few days, so as it stands, no problem."
