Bayern Munich XI vs Arsenal: Kimmich, Musiala, Olise out for Champions League clash
Bayern vs Arsenal: Kimmich, Musiala, Olise out

Bayern Munich will be without Joshua Kimmich, Jamal Musiala and Michael Olise for tonight's Champions League clash with Arsenal at the Allianz Arena.

The reigning Bundesliga champions face the Premier League champions in a league phase encounter, with manager Vincent Kompany also struggling with a virus.

Key Absences for Bayern

Michael Olise, the former Crystal Palace winger, is suspended after his red card against Viking last time out. He has been training with his team-mates but is not eligible to play due to a one-match ban.

Bayern have confirmed that Joshua Kimmich will not be included in the squad due to a family bereavement.

Jamal Musiala remains sidelined with a thigh tear suffered on international duty with Germany in September. He is expected to be out for another week or so, taking his total time on the sidelines to around a month.

Returning Players and Lineup

Captain Manuel Neuer returns in goal after being spotted in training. The 40-year-old has suffered with a foot problem in recent weeks, which had given Jonas Urbig a chance.

Konrad Laimer gets the nod at full-back, with Josip Stanisic on the opposite side. Dayot Upamecano and Kim Min-Jae form the central defensive duo, while Aleksandar Pavlovic is partnered by Tom Bischof in midfield with no Kimmich.

Ismael Saibari operated as the No10 last time out, while Alphonso Davies is shifted forwards as a winger, joining Serge Gnabry and Harry Kane to complete the attacking quartet.
