Arsenal are reportedly planning a £50m double swoop for Newcastle's Alexander Isak and Wolves' Pedro Neto, according to sources. The Gunners have already spent over £100m this summer but are keen to add one more marquee signing before the transfer window closes.
Pedro Neto is the latest name linked to the Emirates, with the Wolves winger valued at around £50m. The Portuguese flyer signed a new five-year contract in March, meaning Arsenal will have to pay a premium to secure his services. A potential departure of Nicolas Pépé to Nice could free up funds for the deal.
If Neto proves too expensive, Arsenal may turn to Bayer Leverkusen's Moussa Diaby, though a similar hefty fee would be required. Meanwhile, Chelsea are also in the market for a winger, with Anthony Gordon of Everton a £60m target. The Blues may offer Conor Gallagher or Armando Broja as part of a swap deal.
Everton, having lost Richarlison to Tottenham, are looking at Watford's João Pedro as a replacement, with the Championship club demanding nearly £30m. Another Watford winger, Ismaïla Sarr, could move to Aston Villa or Crystal Palace after personal terms with Villa fell through.
In other news, Ander Herrera is set to return to Athletic Bilbao on a free transfer after his contract with Paris Saint-Germain was terminated two years early. Manchester United remain interested in Barcelona's Frenkie de Jong in what has become the most tedious story of the summer.
