Postecoglou Responds to Arsenal Fans' Brutal Chants After 3-0 Defeat

Nottingham Forest manager Ange Postecoglou has shrugged off savage chants from Arsenal supporters following his side's 3-0 loss at the Emirates Stadium. The Australian, who previously managed Tottenham Hotspur, was taunted with songs including 'Cheer up Postecoglou' and 'Are you Tottenham in disguise?' during the match.

Postecoglou, however, remained defiant in his post-match interview with talkSport, stating: 'I love being back. I love that probably everyone will be writing me off again. I love the fight, mate, and I'm up for it. So let's get it on.'

Goals from Martin Zubimendi (two) and Viktor Gyokeres secured the win for Arsenal, while Forest managed just one shot on target. The result extended Forest's winless run to three games and marked Postecoglou's first defeat since taking charge.

Despite the heavy loss, Postecoglou found positives in his team's performance. 'The players gave everything they could,' he told the BBC. 'It's been a really disruptive week for the players, we've only had one training session together, but hopefully now we can start bedding in some of the principles we need to.'

The Forest boss also praised individual performances, singling out Elliot Anderson, Dan Ndoye, and Neco Williams for their efforts. 'I'm still as excited as the day I signed,' he added. 'I knew today would be tough, but you have to take your medicine and move on.'
