Arsenal Confirm Premier League Title Parade Details for May 31
Arsenal Confirm Title Parade on May 31

Arsenal have confirmed that their Premier League trophy parade will be held on May 31 at 2pm, one day after their Champions League final against Paris Saint-Germain in Budapest. The Gunners ended their 22-year wait for the title on Tuesday night after Manchester City were held to a 1-1 draw at Bournemouth.

City's failure to win at the Vitality Stadium means Pep Guardiola's side can no longer catch Arsenal when the final round of fixtures arrives this weekend. Mikel Arteta's team, who have led the table for most of the campaign, beat Burnley 1-0 on Monday to open up a five-point cushion.

Arsenal's squad and staff gathered at the training ground to watch City slip up, and they will lift the trophy after Sunday's trip to Crystal Palace. Meanwhile, supporters made their way to the Emirates and celebrated long into the night after being crowned Premier League champions.

Fans will now be turning their attention to the title parade in excitement, with the club confirming the details.

A statement on the club's website read: "We are PREMIER LEAGUE CHAMPIONS! Thank you to our supporters for being with us every step of the way on this incredible journey - showing up and turning out for each other and taking us back to where we belong. You've all stood behind us and willed us on to this point, and we cannot wait to lift the trophy at Selhurst Park in front of our travelling supporters after the final whistle this weekend.

"We are delighted to announce that we will come together with our supporters and community for a special parade around our home borough of Islington, starting from 2pm on Sunday 31 May, to celebrate our title. This follows our UEFA Champions League Final against Paris Saint-Germain in Budapest on Saturday 30 May, at 5pm (UK time).

"Should we be successful in this game, our parade will also celebrate this historic triumph. This will be a major public event, and we anticipate large numbers of supporters will turn out in the local area. We hope you are able to join our celebrations on the day. Local residents and businesses should be advised that the event will lead to disruption across the borough that will involve road closures and parking suspensions."

You may also find it difficult to move normally around the borough or pass through the route. We will communicate more details on the parade closer to the time, which will only be published on our website and other official Arsenal channels.

Meanwhile, Islington Council said: "This will be a major public event, and we anticipate large numbers of supporters will turn out in the local area. We hope you are able to join the celebrations on the day, but please be advised that the event will lead to disruption across the borough that will involve road closures and parking suspensions.

"You may also find it difficult to move normally around the borough or pass through the parade route. Details of the route and closures will be announced closer to the event, but please consider how this might impact your plans now."
