Arsenal: Hamann Ranks Gyokeres Behind Sesko; Oxlade-Chamberlain Returns

Viktor Gyokeres has been dealt a critical verdict from Liverpool legend Didi Hamann, who claims the Arsenal striker is less impressive than Manchester United's Benjamin Sesko. Despite scoring in Arsenal's 2-0 win over Burnley, Gyokeres has four goals in 10 Premier League appearances, while Sesko has two in 10 for United. Hamann also included Newcastle's Nick Woltemade in his comparison, stating that both Sesko and Woltemade have impressed him more than Gyokeres.

Hamann told footballblog.co.uk: 'Of the three players, I think that Sesko and Woltemade have impressed me more than Gyokeres. If Woltemade is the regular penalty taker for Newcastle from now until the end of the season, then I think I will put Woltemade down as the player to score the most out of those three this season.' The former Liverpool midfielder acknowledged Sesko's difficult start in England but praised his talent and confidence.

Meanwhile, Arsenal have welcomed back a familiar face as Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain trains with the club. The 32-year-old former Gunner, who was released by Besiktas at the end of last season, is training primarily with the youth teams at London Colney to regain fitness. Manager Mikel Arteta described Oxlade-Chamberlain as 'one of the best characters I've met in football' and said his presence could serve as a positive role model for the squad.
