The result also confirmed a top-seven finish for Bournemouth, who remain in contention for Champions League football ahead of their final match at Nottingham Forest. For City, the focus now turns to speculation over manager Pep Guardiola's future, with reports suggesting he may step down a year early to be succeeded by Enzo Maresca.
