Arsenal failed to reclaim a six-point lead at the top of the Premier League as they were held to a 1-1 draw by Brentford.
Noni Madueke's second-half header put the visitors ahead, but Keane Lewis-Potter equalised with a header of his own after Michael Kayode's long throw was flicked on by Sepp van den Berg.
The hosts enjoyed the better of a chaotic stoppage-time spell, with Igor Thiago missing two chances to win it – Cristhian Mosquera blocked his first effort, and he fired over from a tight angle with the second. Arsenal almost snatched victory at the death, only for Caoimhin Kelleher to deny Gabriel Martinelli.
The result leaves Brentford five points behind the top four, while Arsenal's advantage over second-placed Manchester City is now four points.
