Alisson 'livid' with Jacquet after Fenerbahce equaliser
Alisson 'livid' with Jacquet after Fenerbahce goal

Liverpool goalkeeper Alisson was left furious with teammate Jeremy Jacquet after Mason Greenwood scored via a deflection off the Frenchman in the Champions League. Commentator Ally McCoist believes Alisson has every right to be angry with the defender.

Deflection Decides Equaliser

Greenwood found the net from a free kick following a foul by Dominik Szoboszlai. Crucially, Jacquet turned away from the ball, leaving a hole in Liverpool's wall. The ball connected with Jacquet's midriff and went straight through that gap, as Alisson was caught unable to move back across his goal.

McCoist's Verdict

"He gets a break doesn't he? I think the goalkeeper will not be too happy with his wall," McCoist said on TNT Sport. "Does somebody turn their back on it? It's the perfect answer. It's Jacquet and he's livid, does he turn his back? He certainly does, you've got to face it."

"The goalkeeper is livid, absolutely livid and with justification as well. He's (Jacquet) is side on for someone who has had a good start to the season," McCoist added.
