A substantial EuroMillions prize worth over £112,000 is waiting to be claimed, with lottery officials urgently searching for the ticket holder who has yet to come forward.
Time is Ticking for Powys Prize Winner
The winning ticket was purchased in the county of Powys, Wales, ahead of the draw on Friday, December 12, 2025. It matched five main numbers and one Lucky Star, securing a share of a six-figure prize. The holder is now one of three UK winners from that draw, each entitled to £112,091.
However, the clock is ticking for the fortunate individual. Under National Lottery rules, winners have 180 days from the date of the draw to claim their money. This sets a final deadline of Tuesday, June 10, 2026.
Could You Be the Mystery Winner?
Senior winners’ advisor at Allwyn, Andy Carter, has made a direct appeal to potential winners. He urged anyone who was in the Powys area in the week leading up to the December draw to double-check their tickets.
"Were you in and around Powys in the week leading up to the December 12 draw?" said Carter. "Maybe it isn’t even a local winner – did you visit the area for the day in the run-up to Christmas – perhaps visiting family and friends and played EuroMillions?"
The draw numbers for that fateful night were: 7, 25, 30, 37, 41, and the Lucky Stars 5 and 11.
A Year of Major UK EuroMillions Wins
This unclaimed prize is part of a remarkable year for UK EuroMillions players. In 2025, there were four UK jackpot wins totalling a staggering £199 million.
The biggest moments included:
- An anonymous £83 million win in January.
- A £65 million Valentine’s Day jackpot.
- Two major wins in October, worth £26 million and £25 million, landed just a week apart.
Meanwhile, the £47,164,703 jackpot from the December 12 draw was won by a single ticket-holder in Spain.
