Upcoming Games

Tickets to Game 4 at Madison Square Garden and Game 6 - when the series could be decided in New York - are similarly expensive. Courtside seats for Game 6 are currently on offer for between $94,000 and $220,200.

Cheaper Options in San Antonio

In San Antonio, meanwhile, prices for Games 2, 5 and 7 are significantly cheaper. On Friday night, for instance, fans can buy tickets to Frost Bank Center for less than $900.

Many Knicks fans made the trip to San Antonio for Game 1 of New York's first NBA Finals appearance this century. Their 105-95 victory marked a first win in the championship series since Game 3 in 1999, when they also faced the Spurs.

Back in Manhattan, meanwhile, fans flooded out of Madison Square Garden and spilled on to the streets in celebration. One fan in San Antonio left his seat during the fourth quarter and stormed the court to take a selfie with Victor Wembanyama. Play was stopped for around a minute as security grabbed the man and led him away.
