Tyson Fury shows off black eye weeks before Joshua fight

Tyson Fury has sent fans into meltdown after uploading a video of himself sporting a black eye just weeks before his fight with Anthony Joshua.

The 'Gypsy King' will finally get the chance to settle his longtime feud with Joshua when the pair trade leather on December 11 in front of over 70,000 fans at the Principality Stadium in Cardiff.

Fury's Recent Return to the Ring

Fury - who ended his retirement earlier this year - scored a winning return to action back in April after scoring a points victory over Arslanbek Makhmudov in London. The 38-year-old then followed it up with a stoppage win over Polish boxing veteran Mariusz Wach back in July.

With Fury training over in Miami for his fight with Joshua, the British brawler is leaving no stone unturned. But the former two-time heavyweight world champion has recently posted a rather concerning video with just over a month to go until his clash with Joshua.

Message for Kevin Lerena

His good friend and training partner Kevin Lerena is due to return to competitive action on Saturday night against Scotland's Scott Forrest. And Fury was eager to send a message of support for the South African - but one thing in particular stood out.

Eagle-eyed fans had spotted that the 'Gypsy King' was donning a black eye on his left side in the video. "Tyson Fury here. This is a message for my brother Kevin Lerena," he began.

"Good luck on your fight, Kev. Do the business. I just want to say Tyson Fury, the 'Gypsy King,' is behind the 'Lerena Army.' If you are watching it in South Africa, head over to Super Sport. Get up there, Kev! Do the business brother and I am sure you will be successful and victorious. Come on!"

Injury Rumours and Mind Games

It comes a little over a day after boxing icon Frank Bruno heard whispers that Fury is carrying a slight knock and may pull out of the fight. Speaking on Fight Your Corner, in partnership with Midnite, Bruno told ex-cruiserweight Tony Bellew: "I looked at him the other day and I think someone was talking to me in the gym that he's got some injury, which may stop him from going into the fight with Anthony Joshua? And having that on your head ain't nice."

To which Bellew responded: "He plays up to the camera, Frank. I think he wants to, you know, he's going to be saying certain things. I do think Tyson Fury is the master of the mind games. Yeah, he's very, very good at it. Very, very good at the mind games."
