Campbell tells Joshua how to beat Fury

Luke Campbell, a fellow London 2012 Olympic gold medallist, has offered Anthony Joshua advice on how to defeat Tyson Fury in their all-British heavyweight showdown on December 11 at the Principality Stadium in Cardiff.

The pair are set to settle their decade-long feud, with over 500,000 boxing fans reportedly queuing for tickets, though only 80,000 were made available. A 1am ring walk is planned to suit peak viewing time in the United States, with Saudi boxing figure Turki Alalshikh, Dana White, and Netflix involved in the event.

Campbell's Key Advice for Joshua

Campbell, who first met Joshua ahead of the European Championships in 2010, urged the former champion to seize opportunities and throw multiple combinations. "Tyson is big, and he's long, and he'll make it awkward. I think the only way that I can see Joshua having success is if he gets his feet in distance, and then he's got to throw combinations," he told Mirror Fighting.

"He's got to go, he's got to go twice or three times every time he throws. He can't just throw the one shot or the one-two. He's got to go again and again. I think he's got to put it on Tyson if he wants any success. But if he leans over his front foot like he did in his last fight, he'll just walk straight on to Tyson's lead hook."

Fight's Timing and Expectations

Campbell acknowledged the fight comes later than many hoped, noting both boxers are past their peak. "I think it's reality. With Tyson and Joshua, I think they're both past the best, and I think that's reality," he said. "You've only got to look at the performances to say that. It's a fight I would have loved to have seen 5-10 years ago, but it's still an interesting fight. It's finally happening, brilliant! But I would have loved to have seen this when they was both in the prime."

The bout remains a major draw despite the fighters' ages, with Campbell confirming he will watch the clash on December 11.
