Wrexham striker Kieffer Moore has ventured into property investment, joining a group that purchased a portfolio of buy-to-let flats formerly owned by a company set up by Cherie Blair and her son Euan. Land Registry documents reveal that 31 properties, mainly in the Manchester area, were transferred to the group in March.
The portfolio, held by Oldbury Residential until 2014, is reported to be worth around £3.3 million. Moore, 33, is preparing for life after football alongside former Wales international Christian Ribeiro and Norwich City right-back Jack Stacey. The deal also includes property investor Jay Puddy, whose Performance Property Group aims to help footballers transition from pitch to prosperity.
Moore, who joined Wrexham from Sheffield United for £2 million in August, has already made an impact on the pitch, scoring five goals in ten appearances this season. Off the pitch, he recently earned a diploma in sport directorship from the PFA Business School, expressing ambition to become a football club director in the future.
Wrexham, owned by Hollywood stars Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney, spent approximately £33 million on new players following their promotion to the Championship. Despite a mixed start, with ten points from nine games, Moore is optimistic about the club's Premier League prospects, citing significant investment and infrastructure developments.
