Peter Phillips Makes Public Debut with Girlfriend Lindsay Wallace at Epsom Derby

Peter Phillips, the Queen's grandson, has made his first public appearance with his new girlfriend, Lindsay Wallace, at the Epsom Derby on Saturday. The 44-year-old, who divorced his wife Autumn in June 2021, attended the event with his mother Princess Anne, sister Zara Tindall, and brother-in-law Mike Tindall.

Ms Wallace, 40, is an old school friend of Peter and Zara from Gordonstoun, the £40,000-a-year boarding school. She is the daughter of an oil tycoon and a mother of two. The couple's relationship first came to light in March 2021 when Peter visited her home in Scotland, sparking questions about whether he had broken lockdown restrictions.

Peter has already taken significant steps in the relationship, introducing Ms Wallace to his grandmother, the Queen, at a shooting party at Windsor. The encounter was described as 'warm' by a source. He also brought her as his date to the christening of his nephew Lucas Tindall and Princess Eugenie's son August in November 2021.

The couple were photographed arriving together at the Epsom Derby, marking their most public outing to date. Ms Wallace wore a coral long-sleeved dress with cream accessories, while Peter opted for a classic suit. The event also saw other royals, including the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, in attendance.

Peter shares daughters Savannah, 11, and Isla, 10, with his ex-wife Autumn, and they continue to live on Princess Anne's Gatcombe Park estate in Gloucestershire. His divorce from Autumn was finalised in June 2021, 16 months after they announced their separation.
