Trump also repeated familiar claims about border security, stating, 'We don't want to have people pouring into our country... where prisons are opened up.' When questioned about petrol prices and the Strait of Hormuz, he suggested European nations should 'fend for themselves' and predicted US troops would withdraw from the Iran conflict in 'two weeks.'
