The US president, known for his fiery rhetoric, launched an F-bomb while criticising both nations' actions, saying they 'don't know what the f*** they're doing'.
The 79-year-old president's outburst came after Israel ordered 'powerful strikes' on Iran, accusing Tehran of violating the ceasefire deal. Iran denied the allegations and claimed Israel had carried out strikes in three stages. Trump urged Israel to 'calm down', stating, 'I've got to get Israel to calm down.'
Body language expert Judi James noted that Trump's delivery of the expletive was deliberate. 'Trump doesn't let the f.... word slip, he leans forward to launch it like a missile,' she said. 'His anger is obvious, but it's not uncontrollable rage. This is a tirade delivered in a loud monologue that makes it clear who he is angry about.'
While there is no law preventing US presidents from swearing in public, such language is rare in diplomacy. James remarked that this sort of occurrence is 'becoming less rare with Trump in charge', reflecting a redefinition of his leadership style.
