The video, originally posted by an unofficial account, featured hypothetical headlines suggesting economic and geopolitical dominance under a Trump presidency. One such headline read: "Industrial strength significantly increased... driven by the creation of a unified Reich." The term "Reich" carries heavy historical connotations due to its association with Nazi Germany.

President Joe Biden's campaign team was among the first to condemn the post, calling it "language straight out of Nazi Germany." A spokesperson stated: "Trump is parroting authoritarian rhetoric that has no place in American politics."
Trump's campaign defended the post, claiming it had been created by a random online account and that the former president was merely sharing it without endorsing its content. They emphasised that the video had been circulating widely before Trump reposted it.
