Seth Meyers Accuses Trump of Using Iran Strikes to Divert From Epstein Scandal

Late-night host Seth Meyers has accused Donald Trump of using military action against Iran to divert attention from the Jeffrey Epstein scandal. During his show on Thursday, Meyers criticised the president's claims about the 2015 Iran nuclear deal, pointing out Trump's own history of failed business ventures including Trump Airlines, Trump Vodka, and Trump Steaks.

Meyers also questioned the effectiveness of the June 2025 US strikes on Iran's nuclear facilities, dubbed 'Operation Midnight Hammer', which reportedly set back Iran's nuclear programme by only six months. 'All that for six months?' Meyers asked sarcastically. He further mocked Republican Senator Markwayne Mullin's explanation that, like a car accident victim, Iran could recover from the strikes.

Meanwhile, Jimmy Kimmel focused on the House hearing questioning Hillary Clinton's alleged ties to Jeffrey Epstein, calling it 'ridiculous'. He noted that Clinton never met Epstein, yet was questioned for over six hours about UFOs and Pizzagate. Kimmel contrasted this with Trump, whom Epstein called his 'closest friend', playing a video of the two together.

Stephen Colbert discussed the US-Iran tensions, but also highlighted a bizarre camel beauty contest in the Middle East hit by a botox cheating scandal. He joked about the region being on a 'knife-edge' over the incident.
