The full Cabinet includes Louise Haigh as first secretary of state, Alex Norris as justice secretary, Dame Angela Eagle as environment secretary, and Miatta Fahnbulleh as energy secretary. Stephen Kinnock takes the Wales brief, with Sir Chris Bryant appointed Northern Ireland secretary.
Several former ministers, including Rachel Reeves, David Lammy, and Hilary Benn, lost their posts. In his first speech as prime minister, Burnham promised to end rough sleeping and introduce a 10-year plan for Britain.
Healey is now responsible for raising military spending to 3% of GDP by 2030, potentially through defence bonds. Victim Support has urged the new justice secretary to prioritise victims' rights, calling the abolition of police and crime commissioners a 'once-in-a-generation opportunity'.
