Peter Phillips and Harriet Sperling are set to marry today at All Saints Church in Kemble, Cirencester, with a reception reportedly planned at Gatcombe Park, the Gloucestershire home of Princess Anne. The venue holds special significance for the couple, as it is near Harriet's childhood home and just 20 minutes from Gatcombe, where Phillips grew up.
The wedding and reception are being organised by Peregrine Armstrong Jones of Bentleys Entertainment, who previously arranged Phillips' 21st birthday party at Windsor Castle and his sister Zara Tindall's wedding. The same company handled Phillips' first wedding to Autumn Kelly 18 years ago.
Senior royals including the King and Queen, the Prince and Princess of Wales, and the Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh are expected to attend. Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie have been invited, but their attendance is unconfirmed. Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were not invited, reportedly to avoid drawing attention away from the couple, according to former BBC royal correspondent Jennie Bond.
Phillips' daughters Savannah and Isla, and Sperling's daughter Georgina, are expected to take part in the ceremony. The wedding date was announced in April, with a statement confirming the private service on 6 June 2026.
