Peter Phillips and Harriet Sperling's Wedding Reception Plans

Peter Phillips and Harriet Sperling are just days away from tying the knot, with details of their 'special' wedding reception now being revealed. The couple will exchange vows on Saturday, June 6, at All Saints Church in Kemble, Cirencester, a location with deep personal significance. The church is near Harriet's childhood home, and for Peter, it is just 20 minutes from his mother Princess Anne's residence at Gatcombe Park.

Reception at Gatcombe Park

According to reports from HELLO! Magazine, the wedding reception is expected to take place at Gatcombe Park, Peter's childhood home. This location carries a 'special resonance' for the late Queen's eldest grandchild. The wedding and reception have been curated by Peregrine Armstrong Jones of Bentleys Entertainment, who previously organized Peter's 21st birthday at Windsor Castle and Zara Tindall's wedding. Peregrine is known for his discretion and has also planned events for Princess Anne.

Guest List and Royal Attendance

The King and Queen, Prince William and Princess Kate, and the Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh are expected to attend, along with Princess Anne and Zara Tindall. Peter's daughters Savannah and Isla, and Harriet's daughter Georgina will also be part of the ceremony. Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie have been invited, but their attendance is unconfirmed. However, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were reportedly not invited.

Former BBC royal correspondent Jennie Bond explained that the decision likely aims to avoid drawing attention away from the bride. She noted that Harry might feel excluded, but the rift in the family makes his absence understandable.
