Meghan Markle has reportedly sent a warning to Prince Harry that their children will not be allowed to travel without her, as Harry is keen to bring them to the UK more often.
Harry's wish for the children
Prince Harry is said to be eager for Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet to spend more time in the UK and connect with their British roots. The children, aged seven and five, recently visited the UK with both parents after spending little time there since June 2022.
Meghan's warning
According to a source speaking to Closer, Meghan has made it clear that the children cannot travel if she is not present. The source said: "She certainly doesn’t want the children going without her, not at this stage."
Christmas visit uncertain
Harry reportedly hopes to bring the family to the UK for Christmas, but Meghan is pushing for King Charles to visit the US instead. The source added: "It all comes down to whether he can persuade Meghan to get back on a plane, and right now even Christmas is looking like a long and difficult conversation."
It remains unclear if Meghan and the children will join Harry for his expected attendance at the WellChild Awards in September.
