Republican congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene has announced her engagement to pro-Trump news reporter Brian Glenn, solidifying their status as MAGA royalty. The couple shared a photo on Elon Musk's social network X on Monday evening, showcasing Greene's engagement ring at a favourite restaurant.

“She said yes,” Glenn posted, tagging the Georgia representative. Greene responded, “Happily ever after!!! I love you @brianglenntv!!!” Conservative talk show host Megyn Kelly congratulated the couple, calling it “great.”

Glenn, chief White House correspondent for Real America's Voice, gained notoriety earlier this year for asking Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky why he wasn't wearing a suit during a meeting with Donald Trump. He has been a fervent Trump supporter and has received unparalleled access to the former president.

According to a Washington Post profile, Greene first caught Glenn's eye at a Trump rally in 2022. He described her as “mystical — like a unicorn” and was drawn to her Georgian accent, blue eyes, and “angelic soul.” They share interests in shooting guns, exercising, and rock bands such as Nickelback and Papa Roach.

The pair began publicly dating in early 2023, shortly after initiating divorce proceedings from their previous spouses. Glenn told the Post that Greene is “sweet” when taken out of politics, and they soon got an apartment together in Washington D.C., though they found the capital “a demonic town.”

Glenn has announced he will stop reporting on the White House and move to Georgia with Greene, avoiding the commute between there and Washington. The engagement comes amid a public rift between Greene and Trump, who has called her a “Traitor” for criticising him over Epstein documents.
