Manchester United have less than 72 hours remaining in the summer transfer window before the market closes at 11pm on September 1. The latest reports link Marcus Rashford with a move to Arsenal, while Amad is reportedly the subject of a bid from Aston Villa.
Rashford and Arsenal links
Arsenal are again being credited with an interest in signing Rashford. It is said that the Premier League champions could turn to him as a replacement for the outgoing Gabriel Martinelli.
James Scanlon has already joined them after agreeing to a permanent move, while Habeeb Ogunneye has announced his departure and is expected to join him in north London.
Amad and other departures
Aston Villa have reportedly made a move for Amad, who missed United's first Premier League match against Hull City with a small injury. Joshua Zirkzee and Toby Collyer are two other players due to depart over the coming days.
Several clubs across Europe are keen on signing Zirkzee, while West Bromwich Albion are due to re-sign Collyer after having him on loan for part of last season.
Incomings and remaining targets
As for incomings, the latest links are to Alexander Sorloth and Ian Maatsen. United still want to sign a left-back and would need a replacement for Zirkzee if the Netherlands international leaves.
