Nigel Farage has launched a scathing attack on what he describes as a 'two-tier justice system' after police decided not to pursue an investigation into alleged rule breaches by a senior Labour Party official.
The Reform UK leader accused authorities of 'turning a blind eye' to potential wrongdoing by establishment figures while cracking down on minor infractions by ordinary citizens.
'Glaring Double Standards'
Farage pointed to what he called 'glaring double standards' in how different political figures are treated by law enforcement. 'If this had been someone from Reform UK or another smaller party, you can bet there would have been a full investigation,' he claimed.
Public Trust Eroding
The controversial politician warned that such incidents further erode public trust in institutions. 'People can see the hypocrisy with their own eyes,' Farage stated. 'When the rules aren't applied equally, it breeds cynicism and disengagement.'
Political analysts suggest this latest outburst could be part of Farage's strategy to position himself as an anti-establishment crusader ahead of potential future electoral campaigns.
