The BBC has announced Christmas specials for both Death in Paradise and Beyond Paradise, airing on iPlayer and BBC One in December 2025.
In the Beyond Paradise special, airing Sunday 21 December at 9pm, Esther discovers a man with no memory on the police station steps holding a photo of DI Humphrey Goodman. The team must identify him while juggling festive cases. Meanwhile, Martha races to pull off a secret plan with help from Anne, Zoe and a special guest. Guest stars include Adrian Edmondson, James Lance and Jonny Weldon.
The Death in Paradise special, airing Sunday 28 December at 8.30pm, sees four co-workers awaken to find a stranger shot dead in their villa pool. The murder weapon was locked in a drawer in Swindon, thousands of miles away. DI Mervin Wilson also grapples with family issues as he awaits a response from his newly discovered brother. Guest stars include Josie Lawrence, Kate Ashfield and Pearl Mackie.
Both episodes will be available on BBC iPlayer and broadcast on BBC One, offering festive mysteries and heartwarming moments for viewers.
