Louise Haigh will face questions at Prime Minister's Questions (PMQs) today as she stands in for Andy Burnham, who is attending a Commonwealth summit in the Caribbean.
The Prime Minister's absence comes amid a row over his reported plan to apologise for the UK's role in the slave trade and consider reparations.
Reparations row dominates
Ms Haigh is likely to be pressed by her Conservative counterpart on the issue. Mr Burnham yesterday declined to confirm whether Britain could make further financial contributions, stopping short of direct reparations to Commonwealth countries.
The Conservatives could also raise questions about Mr Burnham's Brexit reset, which includes a new agreement on food and farming.
Summit attendance
Mr Burnham's attendance at the Commonwealth summit in the Caribbean is the reason for his absence from the weekly Commons session.
The live updates from the session will follow as the questions and answers unfold.
