Alexandre Grimaldi Plans To Modernise Monaco As Cultural Hub

Alexandre Grimaldi-Coste, the 20-year-old illegitimate son of Prince Albert of Monaco, has revealed plans to move to New York City to study business or industrial relations at either New York University or Fordham. He is currently a student at Royal Holloway, University of London.

Despite being excluded from the line of succession because his parents were not married, Alexandre aims to work with his father to become a global ambassador for Monaco. He told Tatler magazine that he wants to set up a business partnership with Prince Albert to bring business opportunities back to the principality.

Alexandre, who grew up in London with his mother Nicole Coste, a former Air France flight attendant from Togo, has a close bond with his father and the rest of the Monaco royal family. He also met supermodel Naomi Campbell, another of his father's former girlfriends, in New York, describing her as 'really open and kind'.
