Time is running out for an anonymous National Lottery player to claim a staggering £1 million prize, with the winning ticket purchased in Westminster still unclaimed.
The lucky ticket matched all five main numbers plus the bonus ball in the Lotto draw held on Saturday, 20 January. However, the winner has yet to step forward, and the deadline for claiming the prize is fast approaching.
Could You Be the Missing Millionaire?
Players who bought a ticket in the Westminster area are being urged to double-check their numbers as soon as possible. The winning numbers for the draw were:
- 7
- 12
- 23
- 34
- 41
- Bonus Ball: 9
If the prize remains unclaimed by the deadline, the money will be donated to National Lottery-funded projects across the UK.
What to Do If You Think You've Won
Anyone who believes they might hold the winning ticket should:
- Sign the back of the ticket immediately
- Contact the National Lottery Line on 0333 234 5050
- Follow the verification process with lottery officials
"We're desperate to find this mystery winner and make their dreams come true," said a National Lottery spokesperson. "This life-changing sum could be sitting in someone's wallet or purse right now."
This isn't the first time a major lottery prize has gone unclaimed. In 2022, a £3 million Lotto jackpot expired without being claimed in Croydon.
