Detectives investigating the murder of Ricardo Hunter, a 34-year-old man found dead at a pool party in Surrey, have renewed their appeal for information exactly one year after his death.
Hunter, also known as 'Forty', was discovered with a gunshot wound in the garden of a house on Church Lane in Headley at around 02:30 BST on 25 July 2016. A post-mortem examination confirmed he died from the wound.
Detective Chief Inspector Mike Ashcroft stated: 'We believe that some members of the community know who killed Ricardo.' He urged anyone who attended the party and has not yet come forward to assist the investigation, saying: 'Help us get closure for the victim's family.'
Hunter, from Coulsdon in south London, was among approximately 400 guests at the event, which was advertised as a 'Big Mansion Pool Party' at a 'Posh Location in the Hills'. A reward of up to £10,000 is being offered for information leading to an arrest and conviction.
