X Factor Star Accused of Murder Held in Same Prison as Lucy Letby

Gabrielle Carrington, a 29-year-old X Factor finalist, is being held at HMP Bronzefield in Surrey on suspicion of murdering influencer Klaudia Zakrzewska. The prison also houses notorious inmates Lucy Letby and Constance Marten.

Carrington is accused of running over Zakrzewska, 32, outside the Inca nightclub in Soho at around 4:30am on April 19. The charge was upgraded to murder after Zakrzewska died six days later. A 58-year-old man also suffered serious injuries in the incident.

Carrington is currently on the induction wing under constant watch for her own safety. Sources say she is a 'standard' inmate with access to gyms, phone calls, and a TV and DVD player. She is expected to be moved to Unit 4, where high-profile inmates are held for protection.

'She is very lucky to have been put in Bronzefield as it is pretty cushy compared to other prisons,' a source told The Sun. 'There are loads of activities laid on for them and women’s prisons are better-resourced than male prisons.'

Carrington has been described as a model prisoner who has kept her head down and engaged with staff. A Sodexo spokesperson declined to comment on individual inmates.
