A Good Girl's Guide to Murder Season 2: Recap of Andie Bell's Killer

The second series of A Good Girl's Guide to Murder has arrived on BBC iPlayer, and viewers may need a refresher on the events of the first season. The show, which became a hit on both the BBC and Netflix in 2024, follows Pip Fitz-Amobi as she investigates a new mystery involving the disappearance of a key witness.

In the first series, Andie Bell was murdered five years prior, with her boyfriend Sal Singh apparently confessing before taking his own life. Pip, convinced of a cover-up, teams up with Sal's brother Ravi to reopen the case. She discovers that Andie was having an affair with her teacher, Elliot Ward, and attempted to blackmail him. Elliot shoved Andie, causing a head injury, but she fled before he could call an ambulance.

Later that night, Andie's sister Becca confronted her about plans to leave town and about selling drugs that Max Hastings used to assault Becca. Becca shoved Andie, who hit her head again and choked on her vomit. Elliot, believing Andie died from his injury, drugged and murdered Sal, sending a fake confession from Sal's phone. However, the perfect spelling in the message tipped off Pip and Ravi.

The season ended with Elliot arrested, but Andie's body was missing. Pip confronted Becca, who led her to the burial site but drugged Pip to silence her. Ravi and Cara rescued Pip in time. Season two begins with Becca in prison and Max Hastings awaiting trial for assault.
