New photographs have emerged showing New England Patriots head coach Mike Vrabel and former NFL reporter Dianna Russini kissing at a bar in New York City six years ago. The images, obtained by Page Six, date back to March 11, 2020, and depict the pair in an intimate setting, holding hands and sharing kisses.
Details of the Encounter
In the photos, Vrabel, 50, can be seen wearing his wedding ring while interacting closely with Russini, 43. At the time, Russini was engaged to Shake Shack executive Kevin Goldschmidt, whom she married six months later. An eyewitness who captured the images told Page Six that Russini had her legs “in between” Vrabel’s and that the two were exchanging “pecks, a bunch of pecks constantly.”
Aftermath of the Scandal
The new photos come just weeks after Vrabel and Russini were pictured holding hands and hugging at a luxury resort in Arizona. Following that incident, Russini resigned from her position at The Athletic, where she covered the NFL and had close ties to Vrabel’s team. Vrabel has since addressed the controversy, stating he has had “difficult conversations with people I care about,” including his family, coaching staff, team officials, and players. He remains with the Patriots but is expected to miss part of this weekend’s NFL draft to attend counseling.
The Independent has reached out to the Patriots and Russini for comment. The story continues to develop.
