Venezuela Fury, the 16-year-old daughter of heavyweight boxer Tyson Fury, has been branded 'useless' by television presenter Anthea Turner during a live broadcast on Channel 5.
Anthea Turner's Criticism
During Thursday's episode of Vanessa's Channel 5 programme, Anthea Turner criticised Venezuela for her lack of culinary expertise, calling the teen 'useless'. The presenter participated in a debate about whether it's unfair when one partner consistently handles all the cooking in a relationship.
This follows Venezuela causing a stir online after posting footage of her husband, Noah Price, 19, preparing her a steak. She advised her followers: 'Good advice for everyone by the way, don't cook, let your husband do it.'
Newlywed Life
The young newlyweds have recently returned from their £30,000 honeymoon and are adjusting to life in their first shared residence. Venezuela has exchanged her parents' £8million Isle of Man mansion for a static home in East Riding of Yorkshire. Offering followers insight into her new married life, she posted a TikTok video showcasing her partner cooking for her.
'Right these are his potatoes and they actually look good, they look really nice and these are Noah's steaks,' Venezuela remarked. She went on: 'I just turned the gas ring on and thought it was on and wasn't on for like five minutes, but look I'm not used to cooking on all this, I'll leave you to do it all.'
Anthea's Reaction
Anthea was not pleased with Venezuela's comment as she informed guest presenter Cherry Healey, who was deputising for Vanessa Feltz: 'What has annoyed me about watching Venezuela is that nobody does their kids any favours letting them leave home useless.' She added: 'Boys and girls should leave home knowing how to do domestics and be able to cook.'
Later in the programme, during a discussion on whether there are excessive speed cameras, Anthea acknowledged: 'I've done a collection of speed awareness courses over the years. Like a passport, I've got quite a few stamps. I've done four. But it's over a long period. I'm older than you, [Cherry], so I've had more years on the road.'
Despite having campaigned for a local speed camera to be introduced and having embraced 20mph zones, Anthea contended that certain speed cameras are 'there to make money'.
