Trump's Alleged Birthday Letter to Epstein Resurfaces

A birthday letter purportedly from Donald Trump to convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein has been released by House Democrats, reigniting questions about their friendship. The letter, dated 2003, was obtained by the House oversight committee from Epstein's lawyers and features a crude sketch of a naked woman alongside a message calling Epstein a 'pal' and saying, 'May every day be another wonderful secret.'

The existence of the letter was first reported by the Wall Street Journal in July, but Trump has denied writing or illustrating it, calling it 'a fake thing' and insisting 'these are not my words, not the way I talk.' The letter predates Epstein's 2006 arrest on sex abuse charges.

White House deputy chief of staff Taylor Budowich denounced the release, stating the signature is not Trump's and alluding to a defamation suit Trump filed against News Corp, the Wall Street Journal's parent company, over the original story.
