Donald Trump Jr has married Palm Beach socialite Bettina Anderson in an intimate ceremony in the Bahamas, with his father notably absent. The wedding took place on Saturday on a private island, attended by around 40 guests including his siblings Ivanka, Eric and Tiffany Trump.
The couple officially tied the knot on Thursday at the home of Anderson's twin sister in West Palm Beach, according to a Florida marriage licence. A source told People the celebration was held on a 'glorious day in a place where they often visit'.
President Donald Trump confirmed on Truth Social that 'circumstances pertaining to Government' and his 'love for the United States of America' prevented him from attending. He had earlier told reporters: 'You know, this is not good timing for me. I have a thing called Iran and other things.'
The couple reportedly plan to hold a third celebration at the White House, which would be attended by the President and First Lady Melania Trump. Anderson shared a black-and-white image of their hands wearing plain bands on Instagram, captioned 'Forever yours, Forever mine'.
Anderson plans to take the Trump name, according to a source familiar with the couple. She was previously celebrated at a bridal shower at Mar-a-Lago in April, attended by Ivanka and Tiffany Trump, as well as the President's ex-wife Marla Maples.
Trump Jr was previously married to Vanessa Trump, with whom he shares five children, and was engaged to Kimberly Guilfoyle. Speculation about his romance with Anderson began in September 2024 when they were spotted kissing in Palm Beach.
