Tom Swarbrick Impresses in GMB Hosting Debut Alongside Ranvir Singh

Tom Swarbrick made his debut as a co-host on Good Morning Britain (GMB) on Monday, stepping in alongside veteran presenter Ranvir Singh for the Bank Holiday episode. The 39-year-old, typically seen on This Morning and Lorraine, took the reins as regular hosts Susanna Reid and Ed Balls are on a break during the May half-term holiday.

Swarbrick, who first appeared as a news reviewer on GMB in March, admitted to a 'sleepless, sweaty night' ahead of his first hosting gig. Singh welcomed him warmly, joking about the record-breaking heatwave and offering him the chance to remove his jacket and tie. Swarbrick described the opportunity as a 'great thrill and privilege'.

Viewers took to social media to praise the new duo. One fan wrote: 'Loving these two. Tom and Ranvir need to be seen more. Thoroughly enjoying #gmb.' Another commented: 'Just put my TV on & I'm very surprised & happy to see Tom Swarbrick on @GMB.'
